LAKE DISTRICT

No matter where you start your journey, be it Bowness, Windermere, Ambleside, Lakeside, Grasmere or Coniston.
Take a boat and feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your face or be a Victorian for the day on a Steam Yacht Gondola.

Bowness is the heart of the Lake District, a holiday town with every sort of shop you can imagine with
cafes & restaurants, just five minutes walk from the pier is The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction.

Sail south to Lakeside past the impressive properties and hotels set on the wooded shoreline, abundant with wildlife and you also have the opportunity to travel on the steam railway.

Grasmere is one of the most popular village in Lake District with plenty of shops and places to eat and stay. It is the home of the famous Sarah Nelson's Gingerbread Shop and the Dove Cottage as well.

Ambleside is set amongst breathtaking majestic mountains and has a very attractive lakeland village.

Coniston is located in the southern part of the Lake District National Park. Its best feature is The Old Man of Coniston, rising dramatically behind the houses when seen from the village centre.

Visit the Lake District for Britain's finest scenery, greenest countryside and grandest views.
