It's the time of the year again to take your lenses out for a lavender shoot, strike a pose and be prepared for the 🐝 stings. 😜
In the month of July the Lavender is in full bloom and maybe almost at its best.
Despite the scorching London heat (29 degrees celsius ), I enjoyed walking through the lavender rows, picking fresh lavender, the spectacular views of rural Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire and of course the lovely lavender scent.
What made this farm so special is that they also grow poppies and sunflowers and they have a wildflower area.
Everyone is welcome to pick these, as well as the Lavender, so do come soon if you are hoping for some beautiful fresh flowers.
It looked nice in my dining room
... and couldn't be more perfect in my living room
The weather has been absolutely stunning this week so why not come and experience what the Lavender can offer you!
The farm is open seven days a week from 10 in the morning till 5 in the afternoon.
There's an entrance fee of £6 for Adults and £4 for children with free scissors and a bag for picking.
And the parking? it's on them...
