Calais is a port city in northern France.
Across the English channel from the clifftop town of Dover, it's the principal
ferry crossing point between France and England.
It was just a short stop before we hit the road again on our way to Dijon.
Travelling by car in Europe is quite exciting because we can stop anytime to places that interest us.
