BUKO PANDAN

Buko Pandan is my favourite.
I learned this recipe from my dear Mommy Butz and I would like to share it to all of you.
Highly in demand during parties or fiestas.
It is a Filipino dessert made with Gelatin and Coconut that will satisfy your cravings.
Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Buko/Coconut Strings (5 pcs./packs)
2 Nestle All Purpose Cream or 2 Elmlea Double Cream (284 ml)
1 Condensed Milk
McCormick Buko Pandan Flavouring
4 boxes of Lady's Choice Alsa Gulaman/Gelatin (green, pandan flavour)
1 can Nata De Coco, white or green (optional)
Grated Cheese

Procedure:

To prepare Gulaman/Gelatin:
Dissolve contents (pouch) in water.
Bring to boil while stirring constantly.
Pour into mold and let cool to set.
Slice gulaman/Gelatin into cubes.

Mix the Gulaman/Gelatin and Buko/Coconut Strings then add the condensed milk, double cream/all purpose cream, Nata De Coco and cheese. Then add few drops of Buko Pandan Flavouring. Taste. Serve cold.
For best result keep it overnight in the fridge before serving.
